West Mersea Town Council's Bradwell Monitoring Committee meet regularly to consider the ongoing work with the decommissioning of the original power station and also to discuss the plans for a new, significantly larger station.

The meeting is open to the public and is chaired by Councillor Peter Banks who is also a voting member of the Bradwell Local Community Liaison Committee (LCLC).
