Meetings are usually held every 5 to 6 weeks in the Council Chambers - Melrose Road - West Mersea starting at 7 pm Agendas for West Mersea Town Council Meetings follow the following general format ~ new proposals and other important matters ~ as they arise would be added as additional agenda items Public Question Time during these fifteen minutes the public can ask questions of the Mayor and members of the Council that are relevant to Council business After Question Time - the public may leave the meeting ~ or ~ alternatively if they wish they can stay and listen to the rest of the meeting. However If they need to leave at any time during the meeting we would respectfully request that they do so inbetween agenda items so as not to disrupt the meeting AGENDA 1. Apologies 2. To consider Planning Applications received 6. To receive notice of Planning Decisions 7. To receive Reports from Committees 8. Letters received for discussion 9. Meeting adjourned to receive reports from County and Borough Councillors (if present) 9. Mayors Notes 10. Any Other Business 12. Mayor to move that the press and public be excluded during the transaction of the following items on the grounds that the publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted 13.
