The custom built ferry boat has a ramp allowing easy access for wheelchair users and cyclists as well as foot passengers.
Brightlingsea Foot Ferry will operate a "Dial a Ferry" service in low season - April to October.
"Dial a Ferry" can be booked by calling the Harbour Office before 1pm daily on 01206 302200 or mobile 07981 450169 during operating times.

The Coast Road area becomes extremely busy during the summer months and parking is very limited. This area is better accessed on foot after parking at the Library car park or using on street parking, but please be considerate of private driveway access.
There is plenty of seafront parking available at Willoughby car park, Victoria Esplanade car park or Seaview car park. These three car parks are very near to the beach area, public toilets, picnic areas and cafes
