GARDEN WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE

Colchester City Council will be charging for the collection of garden waste from January 2024.

The new garden waste collection, which will only be wheelie bins which residents have opted into, starts from week commencing 15th January 2024. Garden waste in subscribed wheelie bins will be collected on the same week as the paper and plastic recycling. Check your recycling calendar for the correct week.

WEST MERSEA TOWN COUNCIL

The following items are available to purchase from West Mersea Town Council office. Open every Monday and Friday morning from 9am to 12pm. 
Food waste caddy bags: 26 bags for £1. Dog bags: 100 bags for £2.
Method of payment: Card only (excluding American Express & Diners Card). No cash or cheques.
