A History of Colchester from 17th to 20th Century

Fully illustrated course traces the history of Colchester from the plague years of the 17th century through to the war years of the 20th century. Other topics to be discussed include the Hythe and its industries, the Rag Trade, Georgian Colchester, Edwardian Colchester and much more...
Time: 9.30am enrolment and 10am each Tuesday thereafter (except 19th February).
A series of two hour illustrated lectures by Patrick Denney, well known local historian, lecturer, author and guide.
Cost: £52. Help for those on benefits.
